Many of you are curious about the reason behind my blog’s rebranding. I invite you to read my article explaining why I chose a new name. I’ve made several updates to help my readers better understand my writing. I blog here because I am on a mission to teach and inspire others to live a better life through God’s grace.
What’s Unshakeable Joy about?
“Unshakeable Joy” is about finding and maintaining a deep sense of joy that is rooted in faith and trust in God, regardless of life’s circumstances. It emphasizes the idea that true joy comes from a strong relationship with God and the assurance of His love and promises. This joy remains steadfast and unwavering, even in the face of challenges and trials, because it is based on the unchanging nature of God and His faithfulness. The concept encourages believers to focus on their spiritual growth and reliance on God to experience a lasting and unshakeable joy.
“Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.” – Nehemiah 8:10
This verse emphasizes that true strength and joy come from the Lord, providing believers with a steadfast and enduring joy that is not dependent on external circumstances.

Who am I?
Hi, I’m Joyce, and I am a cochlear implant recipient. I love reading your blogs! Writing my own blog has been a wonderful experience, as I see blogging as a fantastic opportunity for anyone who loves to write. Currently, I work as a Clinical Case Manager specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) with a focus on Art Therapy for Deaf counseling.
On a personal note, I am happily married to my true love, and we live in a small, peaceful town that brings us quiet and humility. We serve and honor God, feeling blessed to have a beautiful family provided by the Lord. When I’m not blogging or writing, I have retired from designing blogs and websites to focus on my health and family, which are my top priorities. I am also an avid reader and reviewer of books, enjoying life as a humble, bookworm introvert.
In my spare time, I love working on DIY projects at home, volunteering at my local church or non-profit organizations, and attending Christian Women Ministry meetings bi-weekly. I also enjoy watching Super Motocross live with my family. Secretly, I am a freelance Motocross rider and paintball player.
Oh, one more thing you should know about my husband, Justen. He is a current graduate student at Grand Canyon University, focusing on his master program, mental health counseling. He is my biggest supporter and an integral part of my team. Justen helps share my posts on social media.
On May 11, 2024, I proudly graduated with my second Master of Arts degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with a focus on Art Therapy from Dominican University of California. I am thrilled about becoming a registered art therapist, LMFT, and LPCC, and eagerly anticipate starting my Doctoral Program in Fall 2025.
