What does workaholic mean? Great question! It defines that a person is addicted to work everyday, including vacations, evenings, and weekends. Moreover, a workaholic may be more likely to have a chance to risk her/his health, the result is that he or she may have heart disease, serious depression, and other health issues.
In Well-Being Not a Priority for Workaholics, “We found workaholics — defined by those working more than 50 hours per week — were more likely to have reduced physical well-being, measured by skipped meals. Also, we found that workaholism was associated with reduced mental well-being as measured by a self-reported depression score.” stated Sarah Asebedo.
