DIY Stone Coaster

I have been busy with a few crazy errands at home. I am a little bit overwhelmed with my teenage sons for school. I feel guilty that I have no time to blog often here, but good thing is that I have to push myself and then here I am blogging…

Every morning, I make coffee for my husband. I love chocolate mocha coffee but now I decide to stop drinking coffee because of my doctor’s order. I have kind of high blood pressure and my doctor gives me a prescription that helps relieve my blood pressure. I can drink fruit smoothies or pure water. I miss tasting my chocolate mocha coffee.

My husband drinks his hot coffee, but it needs to be sit down on the kitchen table. I have a better idea to make a DIY stone coaster. Have you made a DIY stone coaster before? I believe that you might have made that before, but I have a different idea to make one.

What You Need

  1. 4 Compact Discs
  2. Stones (Bought from Dollar Tree Store)
  3. Hot Melt Glue (or E-600 Glue)

 Instructions

1) Prepare the hot melt glue. And set 4 compact discs.

2) Gather the stones on each of compact discs.

3) Glue all stones.

4) Let them cool off.

Here you go! If the hot melt glue is not working for the stones that attach onto each of the compact discs, try switching to E-600 Glue.

Enjoy your coffee mug on your new DIY stone coaster!
