Bible Verse of the Day

But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your “Yes” be “Yes,” and your “No,” “No,” lest you fall into judgment.

Jamba Juice’s Orange-A-Peel Smoothie

When Jamba Juice was first established in 1998, I fell in love with fruit smoothies. Before going to community college, I always bought Orange-A-Peel smoothie! I preferred to drink this smoothie in the mid-afternoon while doing my homework sometimes. Today, the rumor is that Jamba Juice is not good for our health for some reasons. I do not care at all, Jamba Juice is a stunningly incredible tasteful smoothie I’ve been addicted to. Although, I want to try saving my money from buying my favorite smoothie and Jamba Juice is not located in my small town. I am tired of commuting to a different location so far where Jamba Juice is available. I figured out how I can make this at home. Good thing is that I find one of the recipes from MakeDrinks.org. Its author, Elle Kenwood created her recipe: Jamba Juice’s Orange-A-Peel Smoothie three years ago.

Jamba Juice's Orange-A-Peel Smoothie

Oh, Yeah.. I got a free Hostgator plastic cup from blogher 2014 conference last two years.

What You Need:

As seen on MakeDrinks.org written by Elle Kenwood

1/2 banana slices

1 cup orange juice

1 cup frozen strawberries

1 cup frozen nonfat yogurt

1 cup ice

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine banana, orange juice, frozen strawberry, and yogurt in a blender. I have a Ninja Blender. It works for me. You have different blenders that may work for you.

Let’s blend all the way until it is the consistency we like.

Jamba Juice's Orange-A-Peel Smoothie

Yah! I love to drink my smoothie at home. I am happy that I can make this at home instead of going to Jamba Juice. No more commute. No more buying. If you cannot find any information on how to make your favorite smoothies from Jamba Juice, then you can try MakeDrinks.org, find “Jamba Juice Recipes”, and they have many great recipes for smoothies!

So much better and infinite times healthier making your own smoothy than buying one that has all sorts of chemicals in it, even if it tastes good. A good blender is needed however to break that ice. I have a Nutri Bullet which breaks anything 🙂

Isn’t it fun to recreate recipes at home that you have loved in a restaurant? This looks really great but I would spinach, kale, celery and beef gelatin (tasteless) so it didn’t have such a high glycemic index.

Yay for Jamba Juice! When my youngest daughter was in high school and into college (before her internship) she worked at a Jamba Juice near our home. So I became a real Jamba Juice fan. I love your copycat recipe! It’s perfect for this hot weather season. I’m pinning it to Pinterest! 🙂

That’s funny, I have heard of Jamba Juice, but had no idea what it was exactly. Turns out this is basically what I make for smoothies quite often. Just this morning, in fact, I made a smoothie with orange-pineapple-banana juice, honey-flavored Greek yogurt, bananas, avocado, and a frozen blend of strawberries, pineapples, and mango. Yummy!

I like this recipe. I make a similar one but use raw spinach in it and real oranges instead of juice. I do love Jamba Juice but they have so much sugar in their drinks.

    thanks
