One night, one of my teenaged sons saw me typing a post in my blog and asked me curiously, “What are you doing on computer?” I told him that I was working on my new post in my blog. He was puzzled and started to question me with many funny questions about blogging career. He said, “I do not understand about blogging career.”
As a mother and blogger, I would be happy to explain about blogging career because my two boys need to understand why it is very important to me. I give six reasons I have blogging career.
1. Helping others reading what I write my post.
I like to write each of new post within 2-3 times per week. Some readers really enjoy reading and viewing
the pictures. I am aware of that most readers are more likely to see the photos with an explanation than
seeing no pictures.
2. Giving better advices.
I give some advices that help people learning how to deal with personal issues and problems. I enjoy
helping people to solve the problems and give some personal supports. And I like to listen what people
concern about their personal issues.
3. Teaching what I know.
I love to teach how to craft DIY projects and help people to view the pictures I give the directions such as
cooking, crafts, and others.
4. Sharing what I have experienced in my life.
Certainly, I love to share everything in my life with people because I like to learn what others have
experienced in their lives and understand their personal views. I have nothing to judge what they share,
because sharing and learning about others positively are more fun.
5. Discussing with others what I think about the news.
Of course, I love to tell and discuss with others what I think about the events or news such as a “Pick-
A-Flick Movie”, “Product Review”, or others. I am sure that readers would like to know what I think.
6. Connecting with others through blogging community.
Yes, I love to connect with others thru blogging community, because I want to “meet” and show them that
I support other bloggers that I really enjoy reading. Many bloggers I met are very AWESOME, right?
Lastly, one of my teenaged son understood why I have my blogging career and he told me that he was very impressed about my blogging career, he showed me how he wanted to support me.
If your child finds that you blog and asks about blogging, you should be happy to explain this to your child and tell why it is so matter to you.
Importantly, he asked me a very interesting question, “Mom, how can you make money blogging?” – Stay Tuned..
My kids don’t always understand what I do either. My daughter has read a few of my posts but they were about her.
