How To Save Yourself From Domestic Violence

This month, we are not forgetting about domestic violence awareness month. Importantly, we cannot ignore that many people with domestic violence thrive when they are painfully silent. We have to take a stand against the domestic violence, we work together to end this. But the illogical question is, how can we teach people save themselves from their hurtful relationships?

How To Save Yourself From Domestic Violence

In reality, many people have a weak will to save themselves from their abusive relationships today. They need to find some ways to help save themselves from any painful, abusive relationship. You may not know me, I admit that I am a survivor from my previous abusive marriage. If you are a new reader, you will read my article. I am glad that I did get out of my abusive marriage for good. I do not know about you and your abusive relationship. If you are in your beastly, abusive relationship but do not know how to save yourself, can you try this for once?

How To Save Yourself From Domestic Violence

Go to the local shelter nearby your house. I understand that many victims like you are afraid to escape from their abusive relationships. Fear is not very healthy; you know that your emotion and your heart can tell. Running away from an abusive relationship will never be illegal or the wrong choice.

Call 911. I know, I know that you are scared to make that call. If you cannot call 911 because your abusive spouse or partner take your phone away, you may end up at your own funeral. In addition, you can ask your neighbor for an emergency call. Otherwise, you can run away and make a call from a pay phone. Please understand that calling 911 will never be against the law, the police can help.

Take a pepper spray or other self-defense products. Finally, I heard that some people can survive successfully from their abusive relationships when they use the pepper spray or other self-defense products on their abusive spouses or partners. In my opinion, I think that using the pepper spray or other self-defense products is a very great idea to protect yourself in order to avoid getting hurt physically. Furthermore, it’s okay to use pepper spray or other products, you have to explain every detail to the police and social worker why you need to protect yourself in an abusive relationship.

This is such a serious issue that needs to be spoken of. Not only you can get physically abused, you can get mentally abused as well. We need to stand up for whoever has suffered any kind of abuse and create safe places for them
