In two weeks, I am writing a brief summary of one of the 9 areas of the Fruit of the Holy Spirit: JOY! I believe that if you have not read the previous post about LOVE, then you can click here. And… Bible Verse cards about JOY is free.

Fruit of the Spirit - JOY

The Fruit of The Spirit Is JOY!

Some Christians are not sure about Joy as a part of the Fruit of the Holy Spirit, but Joy in our spirits need to change because the Lord wants us to discover what we feel about it in our lives. Let’s see what the Bible says about Joy.

Though you have not seen Him, you love Him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe and are filled with an inexpressible and glorious joy… ~ 1 Peter 1:8 (NIV)

This verse helps us to understand that we are as a blessing to our precious Lord but also explains as to how amazingly He has blessed us in Christ. Because Jesus has risen from the dead, our joy is not magic because it is very much alive as He is. Our beautiful gift as our Lord’s children are abiding, full of glory, and secured forever. Even though our suffering continues, we have every reason to rejoice. The complicated mystery of our Lord’s plan has been revealed to us in Christ. Once we are saved as long as our lives change through our spirits.

I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! ~ John 15:11 (NLT)

In this verse, our Lord wants us to feel joy in our spirits! He also wants us to have plenty of our faith and peace through our holy spirits. Behind the sin things in the world, our holy spirits help us to continue our joy. No matter how this situation looks, be it bad or good, we still must continue to praise our Lord with joy and share this with others.

Our hearts ache, but we always have joy. We are poor, but we give spiritual riches to others. We own nothing, and yet we have everything. ~ 2 Corinthians 6:10, NLT

We understand why our hearts sometimes hurt. But, our joy is filled within our lives. We have seen many people being poor and suffering; however, we share our spiritual joy with others. We do not need to own everything nor happiness. Everything we receive from our Lord is a blessing.

In the Bible, “ I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth, you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world” (John 16:33, NLT). – Our Lord has educated us the truth about Jesus Christ, He encourages us to learn and know about what is right and what is wrong. He has guided us on how to live our precious lives. He has advised us to stay true as Christians as long as the Holy Spirit fills us with JOY!

Here go free cards with some Bible Verses: JOY!

Next week, I will talk a brief summary of PEACE, that is part of the Fruit of the Spirit. I’m praying that you all would come here to learn some about this.

I am writing of joy today and just feel overwhelmed by the beauty of it with each step I take. Even in the hard, there is God’s joy. So very grateful.

Thank you for the feature! Joy is something that has been weighing on me quite a bit lately. At times I feel it slipping away, and it breaks my heart. I am trying hard to find joy in my salvation instead of in my circumstances. Thanks for sharing.
